- One out of every five people over the age of twelve are carrying a form of Herpes Viral Infection.
- In the United States their was a 30% increase in REPORTED HSV-2 infections between the early 1980’s and mid 1990’s. These percentages are based off of reported cases, the real percentage of increase in these disease is much higher.
- About 1 million new cases each year; an estimated 45 million cases already exist
