What is Hepatitis?
Hepatitis B is a contagious liver disease.

How is Hepatitis spread?
When someone with the Hepatitis B virus has blood, semen, or another body fluid and ends up making its way into the body of the victim.

How does Hepatitus B get into the body?
A way Hepatitus gets in the body is often sexual contact.
Sharing needles would do the trick!
Naturally, in the case a infected mother passes it onto her child during the birthing process.

Traits of Hepatitis B:
It can be acute and chronic.

    Acute Hepatitis B Virus Infection Symptoms

  • Acute virus infections are a short term illness.
  • They are in early stages, within 6 months of the time that the Hepatitis entered the body.
  • Leads to chronic infection some of the time, not always.
    Chronic Hepatitis B Virus Infection Symptoms

  • Long term illness
  • Occurs when the virus stays in the body.
  • Sometimes the Hepatitis B virus does not come out of the persons body and can lead to severe medical problems.
  • The most common effect that chronic infections can cause is health problems on a long-term scale.
  • Liver disease
  • Liver cancer.
  • Death can occur from chronic illness.

How severe is Hepatitis B?
Hepatitis B ranges in it’s degree of severity quite a bit.
It will sometimes go from a mild sickness, that would last a few weeks to a very serious lifelong illness!

Definition of Hepatitis:
1. Inflammation of the liver.
2. Name of a family of viral infects that effect the liver.
